Chinese Text Recital National Competition
Our students demonstrated their mastery of Chinese language and expression at the Chinese Text Recital National Competition. Through expressive recitation, accurate pronunciation and interpretative skills of Chinese texts, participants proudly represent our school on this national platform.
2025 Wei De Zhi Hai Nationwide Hard Pen Calligraphy Competition (2025年「威德智海」全国万人硬笔书法比赛)
In an outstanding performance, five of our Assumptionknights secured their places in the finals of this competition, emerging from an impressive field of over 11,000 participants representing 94 schools across Singapore. During the live on-site finals, our students demonstrated exceptional calligraphy skills and artistic composure under time pressure.
We are especially proud to announce that two of our finalists achieved even greater heights, clinching the Merit Award at the Secondary School level! This remarkable accomplishment reflects not only their artistic talent and technical mastery. Their achievement stands as an inspiration to their peers and a testament to their dedication in preserving the fine art of Chinese calligraphy.
Friends of The Language (Singapore Malay Language Council)
In conjunction with the annual Malay Language Month celebration, students are appointed as Friends of the Language by the Singapore Malay Language Council (MBMS) to encourage students who love the Malay language to cultivate the same love among their family and peers.
In AES two students are appointed as Friends of the Language each year. They will have the opportunity to get actively involved and participate in various Malay Language Month events.
